One of the funniest comedies of the last 20 years is the "Simpsons".  It is also now the longest running show on Television, just about to start its 14th season!   Those who haven't seen it, often call it a 'children's cartoon'. But we the faithful viewers, know it to be one of the raciest shows since "In Living Color" went off of the air. It is also one of the cleverest shows by mixing many film and TV references into every episode. TV guide (and Jill Hennessey) seems to be the most vocal supporter who truly recognizes it as the landmark comedy program that it is. Conan O'Brien was the head writer for seasons 2-4 (he may have wrote some of 5 as well), and these were probably the Simpson's finest years. Seasons 8 and 9 were a little flat as opposed to the earlier episodes, but the quality rose again with Seasons 10 & 11. My own personal favorite episode is the one where Homer is accused of Sexually Harassing the Babysitter.  The episodes where Homer becomes the head of his Union, and the one with Duff Gardens are close seconds.

I have all the episodes on tape, but don't want to seem like too much of a Simpson nerd by posting my tape listings.

Maybe later I'll put some famous Homer Quotes here, but for now help spread the word of Homer by linking to this page.
